Ariella's Birthday

This morning Sydney and I went to her friend Ariella's house to celebrate her 3rd birthday!  Ariella is one of her friends from preschool, so many of the families from school were there this morning.  It was so fun seeing everyone after a few weeks off!

Ariella's family lives in the most gorgeous home on Drummond Drive.  It is literally over an acre of park-like land, tucked privately away with an amazing, modern home and a beautiful sprawling backyard complete with an outdoor kitchen and fireplace!  The party took place in the backyard, and despite the weather being a bit overcast and chilly, the rain held off and we all enjoyed the space so much!

Fai, Ariella's Mom, hired a children's performer to come and entertain the kids.  She did the most beautiful face painting, balloon animals, story time and games with the kids.  Such fun!  The kids had a great time playing freeze dance with scarves and with hula hoops.

They also had a big bouncy castle set up for the kids to play in, which they loved!

Ariella's Mom ordered pizza from the Rocky Mountain Flatbread Company for lunch for everyone along with some gorgeous cupcakes from the Cupcakes store and a ladybug cake!  Sydney loved it and was so thrilled to get a piece of cake with a ladybug on it!

We even got a little private tour of Ariella's bedroom to see her new princess castle bed that she got for her birthday!  It is the most amazing thing I have ever seen, is literally like a castle in her room, built from floor to ceiling and with a winding staircase to get up to the upper bunk!  Sydney thought it was amazing and asked me later if she could get a big girl princess bed just like Ariella's!

We came home with a loot bag stuffed to the brim with treats, a necklace, foam ball, playdough and cutter, new bubbles, stickers....we had fun unpacking it all and showing it to Bubbie at her house when we went to visit her after the party!

It was such a fun time and so nice to finally get together with Ariella outside of school!
